Hello, I’m Angelika

I’m a qualified, experienced integrative counsellor.

I have worked with clients who have presented with a wide range of mental health problems and experienced a variety of issues which include depression, anxiety, social anxiety, post-traumatic stress, general anxiety disorder, relationship problems, loss and bereavement, loneliness and isolation, life-changing events, family issues, work stress, addiction, confidence and self-esteem issues.

I am offering both long term and short-term therapy where we can engage in insightful ways to explore your feelings, thoughts and behaviours.  My aim is to build a trusting and non-judgmental relationship that helps you to develop self-awareness to work through and reflect on any issues you might be experiencing.

Through psychotherapy, I will support you to feel free to be yourself.  We can explore the way you are living, the choices you are making and help you to face and work through any traumas, disappointments or frustrations in a safe and non-judgemental environment.

My way of working can be described as holistic, which means that I will look at you as a whole and consider your mental, physical and emotional needs.  This means that I utilise techniques and tools from different counselling modalities like Humanistic integrative psychotherapy, CBT (Cognitive Behaviour Therapy), Psychodynamic as well as TA and existential, to tailor an individual approach for you.

I am a registered member of the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society and adhere to their ethical framework which underpins my work.  All my work is clinically supervised, and I am fully insured to practice.
